Itinerary:

Join us on this fast paced, single mountain pass, journey through the park.

We will begin our adventure at the Burnt Hickory Parking lot. Get there early to ensure a spot. Make sure you have a parking pass. We will head around the mountains on the Brumby Trail to The Visitor Center. Here we will stop for a quick bio break. From there, we will head over Big and Little Kennesaw and arrive back at the cars. You can re-stock or drop off anything you need at this point.

With the majority of our climbing done for the day after we scale the two mountains we will hit the afterburners and begin the fast (3.2+ mph) portion of the hike. We will make our way to the Hadage Mill Trail to the Cease Fire Trail, followed by the Kolb Farm Loop and back to the cars.

Please bring lunch as we will not be stopping at Kroger or Subway but rather eating lunch on the trail.

This is a long, FAST trek, recent D5 experience and a history of fast hiking will be required to join the fun. If you don't meet these requirements you will be moved to the waiting list.

KM now requires a fee for parking. See the link below to obtain a pass prior to the hike. You must do this as there is no way to get one at the parking lot.
