Island Ford is a great scenic hiking trail with parts along the Chattahoochee River. This will be enterily a silent hike to enjoy nature and make it more COVID-19 safe.

We will meet at the Visitor’s Center which is located at the back of the park. Follow the road, passing two other parking lots on your left until the road dead ends to the Visitor’s Station all the way at the back of the park. The Visitor’s Center will be open and restrooms will be available there. Purchase your parking fee in advance online.

Dogs are welcome but must be on leash at all times in accordance with Chattahoochee NRA park rules.
