Itinerary:
intermediate (about 5.5 miles)

The Blue Angels are part of the ’04 Dobbins Air Show. The scheduled time hasn’t been released, but I plan to hike roughly four miles of moderate terrain, eat and watch the show from atop Kennesaw Mountain looking towards Marietta and then hike 1.5 miles back to the parking lot. Total mileage s/b about 5.5 miles. Planned hike: clockwise from Visitor Center to Pigeon Hill, to Kennesaw Mountain (lunch and air show observation) and return to parking lot.

If you have a collapsable chair you may wish to pack it in, if not, you get the familiar option of sitting on the ground or on a towel.

It is Mother’s Day – parking might be an issue at the visitor center, so try to arrive a bit early. 75 N, Barrett Pkwy West, cross over HWY 41 (Cobb Pkwy), take Old 41 Hwy South – visitor center on the right
