Itinerary:

I hike quite often at Island Ford, so for me, it's not a hike I would ordinarily post on a day other than Thursday.  But many of you don't like the faster Thursday hikes, so this CRNRA unit may not be one you've hiked too often.   We will enjoy many of the trails at this beautiful park and we'll move at a moderate pace as we take in the sites there!

We are parking in the FIRST lot on your left as you enter the park.  We will start on time, so please arrive 10 minutes early to buy a parking pass and to meet your fellow hikers. (This park requires a $5 parking fee, so if you don't have an annual pass, be sure to buy a pass online or have your smartphone available to purchase a pass at the parking lot kiosk.)

We will pass the Visitor Center during our hike, so if needed, we can take a quick bathroom break there.
