Itinerary:

Join us as we explore some old areas and new areas in Roswell. The two parts of this hike are very different.  The first part is in a park and the second is bushwacking.  We will start off doing a figure eight on asphalt paths in East Roswell Park.  This section goes up and down small hills around courts and ball fields.   We get back to the parking lot on Eves Road and cross over to undeveloped property owned by the city of Roswell for a future park.

Seven Branches was part of the Fouts and Hawkins family farm; much of which us now East Roswell Park and East Roswell Library.  This 140 acre Seven Branches section follows a creek that crossed Holdcomb Bridge Road seven times; before the road was paved and relocated.  Most of the path follows a wide, fast creek and there are several wide crossings so poles are recommended.  There are some hills in spots and we also follow the old unpaved remnants of Holcomb Bridge Road for part of the trail.

The Bushwacking parts of the hike may make this not suitable for beginners so choose wisely.
