Itinerary:

Back by popular demand, we are celebrating Mexico's Cinco de Mayo with 5 hikes today!   Join us on one of them, two of them, or all of them if you're up for the challenge!  Wear a sombrero and get into the spirit of the day!  We'll take a break between hikes 3 and 4 to have a Mexican lunch at Tijuana Joe's on Roswell Road (Sandy Springs). Lunch will take place around 2 pm.  Join us!

Our first hike will be a moderately paced hike along the very flat Riverwalk path.  Much of it will be on a paved surface, so it will be easy to navigate.  We'll head toward Don White Park, just down the road, and go through that park until we've covered 2 miles;   then, we'll turn around and retrace our steps back to the parking lot.

We will begin the hike promptly at 8:15 am, so arrive 10 minutes early to use the restroom and meet the other folks.  We'll gather in the parking lot at Riverside Park near the bathrooms.  There is ample parking in the lot, so park wherever you like.

We'll enjoy the scenic Chattahoochee River and friendly conversation on this "easy" morning hike.
