This note is here so that you can make an informed decision. When a Trip Leader isn't personally familiar with a trip, there is an increased chance of things not going as planned and you need to be prepared. The Trip Leader may have additional details in the itinerary.

Itinerary:

Wildflowers, Waterfalls, Vistas and Creeks. This will be a fun, mid-week hike at the Crockford-Pigeon WMA.

This hike requires the purchase of a $5 hunting/fishing license.

Link to purchase License

We will be hiking the Pocket Loop trail along with a short portion of the Chamberlain Trail as we explore this WMA. We will hit a waterfall less than .5 mile in and have many views as we do our loop trek. It is prime wildflower season and there should be plenty for us to see in this area known for an abundance of species.

This is a low level D5 hike, recent D4 experience is required to join the fun. We will be maintaining a pace of about 3 mph, which is a borderline FAST pace.
