Itinerary:

Let's enjoy an afternoon walk in a local park that folks love for the wide asphalt loop around the park, the children's playground, the pavilions, the open grassy areas, and the wooded trails that can add some interesting variety to the route.  If one ventures across a creek bridge to the far end of the park, it actually connects to Fuller's Park, which is a large athletic park off Robinson Road.

We'll start in the upper parking lot near the pavilion and begin our hike through the woods.  We'll cross a bridge and head onto the Cardinal Trail that connects to Fuller's Park.  We'll hike around Fullers Park before returning to the East Cobb Park, where we'll connect to the asphalt loop back to the parking lot.  Although most of the hike will be flat, there is a bit of elevation on the trails through the woods.  A hiking pole will be helpful if you have problems walking on rocky, rooted paths.

This is a great hike for beginners.  We won't be going fast, and the route isn't challenging.  Dogs are welcome.
