Itinerary:

Please join us for an evening paddle on the Chattahoochee River.  We’ll head down river from the Azalea Boat Launch, winding our way along the river side of the Roswell Riverwalk boardwalk, waving at any hikers who might be wandering on the Gold Branch trails, we may paddle just past Morgan Falls Overlook Park to get a glimpse of the dam or just wander through some of the coves before turning around and paddling back upstream to our starting point.  You never know what you'll see along the river (deer, otters, turtles, wildflowers, or just the gently flowing stream), but it's bound to be a beautiful sunset part of the day.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:
Azalea Park is located at 205 Azalea Drive, Roswell, GA 30075 and is across the street from The Atlanta Rowing Club and just east of Shoot the Hooch (203 Azalea Drive).

Notes:

Parking is free.  If the lot is full, you can drop your boat off and then park on the street.

*This paddle is mostly flat water.  We suggest slightly longer boats (9’ and up) since they will be faster and easier to paddle especially back upstream.
