Itinerary: |
Please join us for an evening paddle on the Chattahoochee River. We’ll head onto the river from the Azalea Boat Launch for a couple of hours or so of paddling. Ready to mix it up? Depending on water levels, we may head upstream for a change and check out Vickery Creek or head up to the GA 400 bridge before heading back downstream toward the start. Or we might go the more recent route, heading downstream along the river side of the Roswell Riverwalk boardwalk, waving at any hikers who might be wandering on the Gold Branch trails, paddling down to the cliffs before turning around and paddling back upstream to our starting point. You never know what you'll see along the river (deer, otters, turtles, wildflowers, or just the gently flowing stream), but it's bound to be a beautiful sunset part of the day.
