Itinerary:

Join me for my first hike to the top of Mount Yonah.

At 3166' Mount Yonah has great views over the surrounding area; this should provide excellent vistas of the countryside.

Our route will follow the main trail approximately half way up Mount Yonah where we will take a right  on the way up Yonah we will take a detour to “The Boulder” plus a side trip to the bottom of the cliff face. After visiting these two great features of Mount Yonah we will back track and follow an alternative trail to the top.

At the top we will take a 20 minute break and enjoy the view.

We will hike at a leisurely pace on elevated portions of the trail, a more moderate pace on more level sections or descending.
