Come on out and join us for our annual AOC HOLIDAY SOCIAL

It's our biggest social of the year and it's being held at Cocktail Cove Bar & Grill!

5840 ROSWELL RD, Atlanta, GA 30328 (1/4 mile outside the perimeter)

 Date: Tuesday, December 8th, 2009
 
Time: Starts at 7 pm, so don't miss the fun.


During the AOC Holiday Social, the AOC will be supplying light finger foods.  

Desserts are being provided by our AOC volunteers.

We'll be announcing the 2010 election results

We will be collecting non-perishable food items for a local charity (details below)

We are also participating in Salvation Army Angel Tree Program (please bring a new and unwrapped gift for a young child, no toy guns)


In addition to our numerous outdoor events (ie, hiking, backpacking, camping, canoeing, kayaking, caving, etc.), the Atlanta Outdoor Club has a monthly gathering. This is a great opportunity to meet and network with fellow club members, officers and trip leaders. We will also be announcing the club's new officers for 2010. It's a casual setting, which allows everyone to mingle around and talk about the great outdoors while enjoying a good selection from Cocktail Cove's food/drink menu.

How about the Check Please!!!: We have our own bar and will have "cocktail service" for the evening. This means the wait staff will split out the bill per person*.

* When you show up, place your order at the bar. The Cocktail Cove staff will take your credit card and hold your tab open or let you pay by cash per drink. This not only allows you to move about the area freely, but also allows you to pay your tab if you need to leave early with no hassles because you don't have to wait until the group bill shows up!

Drinking Responsibly: The Atlanta Outdoor Club encourages responsible drinking.

    The Holiday season is about giving and we would like to ask our members and/or guests to help donate food for the Atlanta Community Food Bank...

    Items needed and accepted are as follows:
  • Peanut Butter
  • Canned Tuna
  • Canned Beans
  • Canned Soups, Stews and Pastas
  • 100% Fruit Juice
  • Canned Fruits and Vegetables
  • Macaroni and Cheese Dinners
  • Whole Grain, Low Sugar Cereals

    (Please make sure all food items are non-perishable)

    So bring your donated items to the AOC Holiday social, drop your items in our provided donation bins and we'll deliver to the Atlanta Community Food bank.. It's that simple, but hope you can help!
