Itinerary:

This event is designed for people that would enjoy a leisurely walk in a pleasant environment.

The trail goes through meadow and forest, with nice views of both. It is wide, smooth, and most of it is covered with thin gravel. The elevation change for the whole course is less than 40 feet. The trail has two loops, the first one is about 2.7 miles long and its last mile goes close to the Chattahooche. You cannot see the river from the main trail, but there are short side trails that get close to it. We will park our cars close to the intersection of the two loops, so that you may finish your walk early if you want. The second loop is very peaceful.

As you enter the park you will see, next to a gravel road, a red sign with an inscription in white letters saying "No authorized vehicles allowed", and a small parking area in front of you, where the road turns to the right.
