You've worked all day and now you need some O/T to get the blood flowing again. This will be a fast paced 6 miles at Vickery Creek to help you forget all about your real j-o-b at least for a while. Target pace will be 3+mph with no planned stops so bring water that you can drink on the go. Meet at the covered bridge at the bottom of the hill. There is a restroom here so take advantage of that before we take off. While this is a D3 hike, the pace is going to be faster than most. This is not a beginners hike. If you are concerned that you may not be able to keep up there are other hikes that may be more appropriate for you. Note: This will be Doug's second hike as a potential trip leader in training with Horhay overseeing the melee. | |||||||
