We will be hiking the Bear Hair Gap Trail (counter clockwise), until we connect with the Coosa Backcountry Trail, then we have a short steep gain to the Duncan Ridge Trail up to the AT to Blood Mountain, then retrace our steps back to Coosa and finish at Vogel State Park.  A loop trail with a spur.

Total distance 9 miles with an elevation of 2410 feet.

We will be out of town at signup time, but will review the emails, etc. when we have internet connectivity (11/3).

This is the high end of a D4, nearly a D5; so if you've not got strong AOC D4 experience or D5, please send the trip leaders your most recent hike (distance, duration, elevation gain); if we don't hear from you, we will move you to the waitlist.
