Itinerary:

Join me in my quest to become a trip leader. Island Ford affords us great views of the mighty Chattahoochee and some nice hills to get our hearts pumping. We will hike at a moderately fast pace. Hoping to maintain a 2.7-3.0 pace with a couple of stops for water. Our meeting place will be the first parking area on the left just past the park entrance. Remember that there is a $5.00 fee to park unless you have the annual pass for the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. Thrilled to have Joyce as my co-lead. Please join Joyce and me for an afternoon hike in the beauty of Island Ford.
