Itinerary:

Join me for a relaxed 5 mile hike on the Cherokee Trail around Stone Mountain.  Let’s meet at the base of the walk-up trail near the restrooms for introductions.  We'll then head clockwise, going toward the lawn first, then along the lake-shore, and ending with the nature garden trail to complete our loop. We will use the connector trails on both sides of the base of the walk-up trail, instead of doing any climbing of the mountain.  We will take it easy, going approx 2 – 2.5 miles per hour, with the opportunity to take a bathroom break and the option to take photos if you like (Deer not guaranteed).

Because we are not going up the mountain we are able to welcome well behaved, leashed dogs.
