Itinerary:

Ok folks this is pioneer camping light!  First a description of where we will be staying.

Below is the information for Campground : FORT MTN PIONEER SITES Close
This is a primitive, rugged site for groups only. Site is off to itself, 520 feet from parking area. Shelter is a 10x14 Adirondack shelter with no water or electricity. Outhouse on site. Tents are permitted in the immediate shelter area. Only one fire is permitted and it must be in the existing fire ring. Minimum 10 persons

My plan is if you come bring you own food and drink and maybe a little extra to share.  But bascially I am providing the location for people to met in the woods and enjoy each others company in the great outdoors.
I have a loose itinerary.

I will arrive at the site Friday around 1pm and set up my tent and start the fire that I imagine will be burning all weekend.  So people can come up when they please or there schedule allows.  Friday night is bascially a mix and mingle around the campfire.

The next morning wake up eat breakfast and then head out to day hike the Gahuti trail or some of other trails in the park.  Plan on eating lunch out on the trails that ou are day hiking on.  Then back to the campsite where we can prepare dinner and mix and mingle again.  The next morning we will need to break camp and be gone by 12 noon.

Please note you will need to bring you own food and drink.  Of course feel free to bring a little extra to share.  I mean you can not have to much food and drink at these things.  But keep in mind alcohol is not allowed at state parks and IF you chose to bring it since you are an adult and I nor the club can force you not to,  PLEASE be responsible about it. Same with dogs, I LOVE dogs but keep in mind the rules about them at the park.
