Itinerary:

Join me for a fun day hike, we will take in two impressive waterfalls as well as great views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from Tamassee Knob!

Our journey will start near the Oconeee Station State Historic site, we will hike approximately 3/4 of a mile to Station Cove Falls and take in the amazing 60-foot cascade.

After stopping for a short period, we will retrace our steps a short way to the junction with the Oconee Connector trail, we will follow this until we make a sharp right and climb to the top of the Tamassee Knob. Here we will be afforded great views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and have a short lunch break.

We will return back the way we came then take the Foothills trail to the Hidden Falls Spur trail, we will descend into the falls and take in the 50-foot-high falls before returning to the car.

This hike is rated as a D5, and the Trip Leader may contact you to assess your experience level.
