Event Overview and Where to Meet:
We will follow the Cherokee Trail, white trail in a counterclockwise direction with short sections of the orange trails, and purple trails. From Confederate Hall we will head toward Venable Lake, go around the lake returning to the back side of the mountain followed a detour to the Kings Trail at Indian Island via the Covered Bridge. Returning to the Covered Bridge we head for Grist Mill, briefly along the Rock Wall, past Memorial Lawn / under the carving, and back to Confederate Hall.
We will be parking at Confederate Hall. There are restrooms at this location. Please arrive 10 minutes early so that we may do introductions and start the hike on time.
End of the hike optional, we can go up and down the mountain.
