Let's hike Island Ford! We will hike about 5 miles.  We will cover several trails including the Sandy Springs lollipop trail and walk along the river to the visitor center. Parking at the first lot on the left after entering the park. No restrooms here so plan ahead.  There are restrooms at the visitor center, but that will be about 2/3 of the way through our hike.

Please note: We will be hiking moderate to fast at about 3 MPH.  This is not a hike for beginners. Recent D2+ experience required.

If you do not have an annual CRNRA parking pass, you will need to purchase the $5 daily parking pass at the Web site  CRNRA Parks. You may also purchase an annual pass for $40.00 online or download their app to purchase.
