It will be a beautiful sunny day along the riverfront!

We will meet in the large parking lot at the Chattahoochee River Park. The address is to the smaller parking lot.

We will hike at a steady, but moderate pace along the river. Of course, we will pause to take in the scenery. The total mileage should be around 5 miles with little, if any elevation change.

The hike will be approximately two hours.

Required Items to Bring:
$3 parking fee, comfortable hiking boots/shoes, water to stay hydrated, snacks, and a smile.

How to Get There:

Event Directions:

From Roswell Road (Highway 9/U.S. 19):
(Heading North from Atlanta or I-285).
At the first traffic light after crossing the Chattahoochee River, turn left onto Azalea Drive.

From GA 400 Northbound:
Exit on Northridge (exit #6) and bear to the right, back over the expressway. Immediately after crossing over 400, turn right onto Dunwoody Place. Follow Dunwoody Place until it intersects with Roswell Road (1.2 miles). Turn right onto Roswell Road. At the first traffic light after crossing the Chattahoochee River, turn left onto Azalea Drive.

From GA 400 Southbound:
Exit Northridge Road (exit #6). At the top of the ramp is a traffic light. Travel straight through the traffic light onto Dunwoody Place. Follow Dunwoody Place until it intersects with Roswell Road (1.2 miles). Turn right onto Roswell Road. At the first traffic light after crossing the Chattahoochee River, turn left onto Azalea Drive.

From Marietta and All Points West:
Take Highway 120 (also called Marietta Highway or Upper Roswell Road) east toward the city of Roswell. Cross Johnson Ferry Road and travel approximately four miles to Willeo Road. At a traffic light, turn right onto Willeo Road. Turn left onto Azalea Drive.
