Itinerary:

THIS IS THE RESCHEDULED HIKE FROM JAN 9TH.

This hike will be open to beginners first, then members who require a slow pace!

I plan to keep a slow, steady pace to accommodate everyone.

A couple dogs may be allowed as long as they are leashed and well-behaved.  No more than 3 dogs please as this is not a big park.  Please be prepared to clean up behind your pet to help keep the park nice for everyone.

We will meet in the parking lot near the ballfields, close to the building where the restrooms are located.

After the group gets acquainted and the waivers are signed, we will head to our destination.  There will be several trails for us to hike with some hills, but no major elevation change.  You should still wear good supportive shoes as there are some exposed roots along the trails, and a few water crossings.  There will be lots to see with woodland trails and wildcat creek crossings.

Required Items to Bring:
Warm clothes (this is especially important since we will not be hiking fast), comfortable shoes/boots to hike in, water to stay hydrated, smile!
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.

hat, gloves, lunch, snacks
