ABOUT JONES BRIDGE:

The Jones Bridge unit of the Chattahoochee National Recreation Area is a great scenic hike. We will get the river view, hike up some small hills, through an open field and beside a small pond. We may even see a few deer or blue heron if we are lucky, however numerous squirrels are guaranteed.

We will walk along the river towards the pond, and come back through the woods. In general, the trails are flat with some relatively easy uphill climbs, nothing with over a 200 feet elevation gain or loss.

This is a good work- out hike. Total hike time including breaks will be 2 hours.
