Itinerary:
Come join me for an easy to moderate hike on the Bear Creek Trail in the Chattahoochee National Forest.  This is approx.6.6 mile loop trail in a heavily wooded area of North Ga.  On the trail, we'll pass by the second largest tree in north GA, the Gennett Popular.  He stands over some 100 feet high and nearly twenty feet around.

There will be multiple stream crossing, but there's a rock path across each of them and unless we've had extensive rain the week of the hike, then there should be no worries on getting your feet wet.

Carpool Cost: Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $56.00 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.
