Let's go for a beautiful zen morning paddle - we begin at Azalea Park and we'll go downstream to the cliffs and back to where we began.
We'll look for birds, turtles, and other wildlife. This event is appropriate for strong beginners who can handle the upstream current. No whitewater or rocks.
This is a bring-your-own-boat event.
NO BLOW-UP KAYAKS, BLOW-UP CANOES OR BLOW-UP PADDLE BOARDS.
8:00am - We will meet at Azalea Park in the parking lot (across from the Atlanta Rowing Club with the light and boat ramp, and nearby bathrooms). Unload quickly and be ready to go.
8:15am - get on the river.
10:15am - back home, help each other load boats.
This is a bring your own boat event.
