Itinerary:

Join me for a relaxed 5 mile hike on the Cherokee Trail around Stone Mountain to welcome Daylight Savings Time (DST). We'll hike from 6pm until 8pm - B/C WE CAN! Sunset is at 7:44pm and then we'll take advantage of every drop of daylight left. Let’s meet at the base of the walk-up trail near the restrooms for introductions. We will use the connector trails on both sides of the base of the walk- up trail, instead of doing any climbing of the mountain.  We'll go approx 2.5 - 3 miles per hour, with the opportunity to take a bathroom break and the option to take photos if you like (Deer not guaranteed).

Because we are not going up the mountain we are able to welcome well behaved, leashed dogs. I will have my 50lb husky mix Layla. I would love to have up to 2 more dogs, so I'll welcome the first 2 that I get an email or text about from participants who have signed up for the event.
