Itinerary:

This is not a beginner ride.  Please be comfortable with a relatively longer distance on roads and hills.

Grab your bikes and join us for some FREE fun on the beautiful back roads around Cartersville.   We’ll be cycling a 31 mile loop beginning at the Budweiser Plant near Cartersville, Georgia.  Following country lanes along pastures and farms, over the river and through the woods, biking the back roads is a great way to spend a Sunday morning on a bicycle.

This is not a beginner ride, so here are a few words of caution.  This is not a flat greenway ride.  Please expect some hill climbing and the fun downhills that make the grind worth your time.  We will be travelling on actual two-lane country roads which, although not heavily travelled, can occasionally cause a small parade of cars or trucks behind us so we will mostly be cycling single file to allow them to pass when they can.

FAIR WEATHER ONLY!  We'll cancel if rain is forecast.

We will be stopping several times to regroup, take a sip or just grab a breath.   Although this is a no-drop ride, if you are unable to keep up with the group you may be asked to ride back on the shorter route to the starting point.

A road bike is recommended.  For your safety, helmets are required.  Light colored/reflective clothing and a working rear-facing light recommended.

Enter the Budweiser parking lot and turn right to find us.  Park away from the factory along the edge of the lot (they are closed on Sundays). Please do not litter or change in the open.
