Itinerary:

Join us for a fun and easy hike in the forest along the Chattahoochee River (Jones Bridge Branch - Chattahoochee NRA) this Friday evening.

You'll see nature and wildlife on this 5-6 mile loop hike with some hills.

We'll meet in the parking lot at the end of the park entrance road before the hike. Restrooms are there.

Itinerary and walking route is subject to change before and during the event.

Note:

Hey, fellow hikers! I'm excited to join you on this trail, but I have a small favor to ask. You see, my ankle is still healing from a nasty fracture, so I can't go too fast or too far. Please don't rush me or pressure me to finish sooner. This is supposed to be a fun and relaxing hike, not a race or a test. If you're looking for something more challenging or speedy, this is not the hike for you. Thanks for understanding and being flexible!

Required Items to Bring:

-1-2 liters of water
-Appropriate clothing for weather
-Walking shoes or boots (Running shoes will work too!)

Event Directions:

From GA 400, take exit 7a, and head East 4.1 miles through the intersection of Holcomb Bridge and Nesbitt Ferry Road to the junction of Barnwell Road. Turn left on Barnwell Rd, and travel approx 2 miles to Jones Bridge Branch which will be on the right. Turn in and go a little over 1/2 mile to large parking lot at end of road. We will meet near the restroom building.
