Itinerary:

Bring your hiking feet, camera, and canine friends and join me on a beautiful afternoon hike as we are embraced by the warmer temperatures!

The Big Creek Greenway, maintained by the city of Alpharetta, recently reopened now that the rains have subsided.  The creek is a tributary of the Chattahoochee River. It begins in Forsyth County and flows south, ending into the Chattahoochee in Roswell.

There are over 6 miles of a wide, winding, concrete path that makes this place ideal for hiking and spending time with canine companions.  Wildlife will surround you as this area encircles a wetland and can offer sightings of bluebirds, deer, ducks, wild turkeys and blue heron.

Afterwards, there will be an optional sweet treat for anyone who wishes to tag along.
