Note: This is an "EXPLORATORY" trip. This means that there are parts of this trip, or perhaps the whole trip, that is new to your Trip Leader(s). However, they are confident that this will not be an issue.
This note is here so that you can make an informed decision. When a Trip Leader isn't personally familiar with a trip, there is an increased chance of things not going as planned and you need to be prepared. The Trip Leader may have additional details in the itinerary.

Itinerary:

Legend has it that from prehistoric times, the Cherokee, who controlled this area, would climb this particular mountain, find a resting place (seat) on the rocks and reflect on life. Our plan is somewhat similar, in that we'll hike the Ridgeline trail, return to our cars for a quick drink of water and (possible) restroom break, and then hike up to the Indian Seats to ponder all that we have achieved, including a total elevation gain of 1100 feet, before returning to our cars for the drive back home.

DISCLAIMER: This is a moderately strenuous hike with 1000+ foot elevation gain at a relatively brisk pace. So, if you have mobility issues, are recovering from injury, or prefer a slow pace, this is NOT the hike for you!
