Come join us (and our dog Fia) on this two-in-one (beat the heat + get your workout in) hike. The plan is begin our hike near the restrooms at the Whistle Stop Station, walk around the base of the mountain till we pick up the Cherokee Trail, follow it till we reach the covered bridge (to Indian Island) and then retrace our steps via the north trail to the parking lot.

We plan to start our hike promptly at 7:00 AM so please plan to arrive a few minutes early to park, use the restrooms, and participate in introductions.

Drive a mile or so, past a gas station and a funeral parlor (both on your right). When you see City Hall turn left. There is a Marta park-and-ride on 4th street.
