Itinerary:

Stone Mountain sunrise and beyond hike. We will meet at restrooms near Historical & Environmental Center (formerly Confederate Hall). We'll do the walk up trail three times, and then around the mountain on the Cherokee trail. We will maintain a fast pace (2.8-2.9 MPH) with a pause for the sunrise and a few short breaks along the way. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for socializing and introductions for on time departure. Bring a headlamp and an on-the-go snack if desired. We'll be keeping together as a group for this event.

 

Recent D4 experience to join the fun. Not for beginners(2.8-2.9 MPH 11.5 miles and 2300 ft elevation gain). It's going to be hot. Make sure you bring enough fluids and know you can handle the heat.
