It's been too long since I got out to one of my favorite hikes in the southeast.The trail features a couple fantastic views from Table Rock itself and then a few more on the way back down Pinnacle mountain later in the hike. The event is roughly 12 miles with more than 3000 ft of elevation gain. Parts of the trail are steep, parts of the trail are rocky, and parts of the trail are both. We won't be pushing the pace but you should still expect it to be a challenging hike. We should be off the trail a little before sunset.

Since I don't have a ton of opportunities to do hikes outside of Atlanta we will not be rushing through the scenic parts of the event. Assuming that we aren't horribly off schedule expect to sit longer at viewpoints than most hikes.

If meeting at the event please be there and ready to hike a little before 10am. I plan on driving one vehicle from the carpool and will reach out if it looks like we need another driver. In addition to cash for the carpool driver, the park website says it has a per person entrance fee of $6 per adult and $3.75 for SC seniors(65+). I'm not sure if the senior price is truly only for SC residents. I'd recommend having $6 just in case.

If you are carpooling we will be leaving at 7:30 AM and should expect to be back between 8 and 9pm. As always things can change and you should not make other plans for that Sunday night in case we get back later than expected.

The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.
