Itinerary:

The flow rates are kinda CRAZY so we're GOING WITH THE FLOW today. This Double Dam training paddle will be from Abbotts Bridge Park boat ram down to the Azalea Park boat ramp.

As mentioned this is a Double Dam training paddle so it's not the usual chill, sight-seeing paddle I usually do - it's 18 solid miles at a steady clip in longer boats....it's a workout ;)

Shuttling is an option and we'll need at least 2 people to assist with this...it also depends on number of takers too. Drop the take out car at Azalea then hustle up to Abbotts Br Boat Ramp, CRNRA permit required for parking at Abbotts. We'll want to be on the water as close to 10:00 as possible, so if you're shuttling be there early. Added 30 minutes of wiggle room to consider the shuttling times.

FLOW RATES: River Flow Rate - Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area (U.S. National Park Service) (nps.gov)
