Itinerary:

Join us for a fun Saturday hike to the top of Mount Yonah. At 3166’, Mount Yonah offers beautiful views overlooking the countryside. We will hike a 2.5-mile/hour pace with a few stops for photo opportunities and take 20-30 minutes to eat lunch at the summit and enjoy the views. This 4.10-mile hike, with 1,453 elevation gain, makes it a D3.  A carpool is available at Mansell Park and Ride, or feel free to meet at the trailhead. Please let us know your plans when you sign up for the hike.

Please note that the gravel road that leads to the trail head is not in great shape (deep ruts) and sedans or low cars may have some trouble. best to come with an SUV.

Carpool Cost: Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $48.00 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.
