Itinerary:

This challenging out-and-back hike starts at Tesnatee Gap, with Walasi Yi being the turnaround point. The start of the hike has a gradual incline for almost a mile to the beautiful views at Cowrock Mountain. From there, we will follow a ridgeline with gentle ups and downs until we arrive at Walasi Yi. This will be an excellent area to have lunch. There are restrooms and if you eat quickly, you may have a minute or two to check out the store. We will keep lunch to 20 minutes because the hike back is just as challenging. The hike is an estimated 11.50 miles with 3,000 elevation gain, and we will keep to a 2.2 to 2.5-mile pace.

Required Items to Bring:
