Itinerary:
moderate to strenuous

From the trailhead we will follow the Orange Blazes for 8.2 miles, as the trail winds alone the ravines, spur ridges, and slopes of Fort and Cohutta Mountains. It follows the contours of this terrain up and down numerous grades, and crosses many streams.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Fort Mountain State Park 9:00 at welcome center in park From park and ride we will go back to Interstate 75 North to exit 293 from exit go right on 411 East to Chadworth (about 41 miles) turn right on Hwy 52 for (approxametly 8 miles), park is on the left

Notes:

Due to small number of hikers permitted, if for whatever reason, please contact leader if trip is full to be put on a waiting list, so others that want to go can sign up

Will this event occur rain or shine? yes if heavy rain leader will contact hikers Friday night by phone if no one home will leave message and email hiker
