Itinerary:

Let's paddle on the beautiful Stone Mountain Park Lake.  Stone Mountain park is one of Atlanta's premier destinations housing many fun and exicting activites. We will see the park from a different point of view for a change, the Lake!

Our trip will take us around most of the lakes shoreline, under the covered bridge, past the Golf Course and Campground then back to the main boat slip. We will be stopping for a snack/drink approximately half way through the paddle.

You are required to bring your own boat for this event. Hardshell Kayaks or Canoes are required. This is a 6.5 mile paddle so please ensure you can manage this distance comfortably especially if the wind picks up.  You must be able to swim - This is a Stone Mountain requirement for all persons in a canoe or kayak.

This event may be cancelled if there is a greater than a 20% chance of rain.

There is a parking fee to enter the park; however, free public parking is available in Stone Mountain Village. If you visit SM Park a few times a year or more, it is more cost effective to buy an annual pass.
