Itinerary:

Join me for a a hike on Blood Mountain. We will start a Byron Reece Trailhead for 0.7 miles to join with thr AT. Then we will take the AT southbound up to the summit of blood mountain. We will take a 10 minute break at blood mountain. Then we will complete the loop ultimately returning back to our cars at the trailhead.

The hike will be just about 6 miles total, with approximately 1,600 feet of elevation. The pace will be moderate, but we will stop to collect any members who feel behind at every trail intersection.

The hike will begin at 9:00 AM from Byron Reece Trailhead. If you would like to carpool, we will meet at the carpool location at Indian Trail Park at 7:15 AM. Please be there 10 minutes early to make introductions and set up the carpool.

Carpool Cost: Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $64.00 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.
