Itinerary:

 

Start off your week with this brisk morning walk on the Eastside beltline. The plan is to meet at the Beltline rocks (near the back entrance of Ponce City Market), walk south to the Krog Street Tunnel, tag the original TINY DOOR, admire the graffiti, turn around and head north to Piedmont Park's Midtown reflection pool before returning to Ponce City Market. Beginners are welcome on this hike, but please note that we'll maintain a moderate 3 to 3.2 mile/per hour (


Required Items to Bring:

Weather appropriate gear

Hiking boots/shoes w/ good traction

Water

And of course, your SOH (sense of humor)

I will email participants with exact location and detailed directions a few days before the event. 

 

Notes:

  1. Please, no unregistered guests or +Ones!

  2. Late cancellations, particularly within 36 hours of the event, make it difficult for those on the waitlist to attend. Please be courteous to your fellow AOC members and cancel with as much notice as possible.

  3. I usually hike RAIN-or-SHINE, however, in case of severe weather or other unforeseen emergencies that warrant a cancellation, I will text/email you at least TWO HOURS before the start of the event.


* We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines while participating in AOC events.
