Itinerary:

Please arrive 10 minutes early and meet in front of the bathroom. After the meet & greet, we will begin the hike promptly at 10:00 am.

The 6 mile out-and-back hike from Riverside Park to Willeo Park is a great way to spend a leisurely day outdoors. When the river water level is high, walking on the boardwalk is especially enjoyable, as it offers stunning views of the Chattahoochee River and the opportunity to spot wildlife. We will hike the Riverwalk Trail and the Willeo Trail, which follow the river from Azalea Road to Willeo Road. The path will be all hard surfaces, a mixture of paved roads and boardwalks, so comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended. We'll stop for a hydration break at the Chattahoochee Nature Center. The restroom is available in the parking lot at Riverside Park.
