Join us for this 7 mile urban hike on the Atlanta Beltline Eastside Trail!

Assembly & Route:

Our urban adventure begins and concludes at Krog Street Market’s entrance. We’ll embark on the Eastside Beltline Trail’s new stretch, making our way to the charming neighborhood of Cabbagetown and the storied grounds of Historical Oakland Cemetery—a verdant sanctuary and the final resting place of notable figures. Post-visit, we’ll retrace our steps along the Beltline Trail towards Piedmont Park’s outskirts, only to circle back to our starting point. En route, we’ll take a detour to admire the Historic Old Fourth Ward Park and snap a group photo.

The journey spans roughly 7 miles, with the end time subject to our collective pace—flexibility is appreciated.

Scenic Highlights:

As we traverse the trail, we’ll encounter the vibrant Krog Street Tunnel, the bustling Ponce Market, the dynamic Fourth Ward Skatepark, and the serene Historic Old Fourth Ward Park. Alongside these landmarks, we’ll be treated to an array of restaurants, eclectic murals, street art, and the whimsical Tiny Doors ATL installations.

Post-Hike Gathering (Optional):

Following our excursion, you’re invited to unwind with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or a pastry at Krog Street Market. Please note that each participant will cover their own expenses.
