Itinerary:

Let's hike ALL of Island Ford!  Island Ford is one of our favorites of the CNRA units.  This will be a fast hike including warm up hill, walk along the river, lollipop, and the interior which has hills. We will hike all the trails, several twice giving us 8+ miles.  We will hike all the hills, several twice giving us 1,000+ feet elevation.  So nice, so nice, we do it twice. Several short breaks during our hike. Recent D2+ experience to join the fun.  Not for beginners.

We will meet at the  Hewlett Pond Parking Lot,   no bathrooms here so plan ahead.  

As always, please arrive at least 10 minutes early for introductions and socializing, giving us an on time start for the hike.

Somewhat difficult to find the first time.  Once you enter the main gate, drive down the road about .6 miles until you see the Hewlett Pond parking lot on the left.
