Itinerary:

Join up to bike scenic country roads starting from the Sosebee bike park. Incorporating some of the popular BBC (Beautiful Backroads Century) routes, we'll take a 40 mile loop along these peaceful, pastoral paths and enjoy views of farms, ponds, and horses.

Not A Beginner Ride: The route is hilly and challenging, with an elevation gain of about 1900 ft. We'll aim for a pace of about 15mph and stop at the major intersections to regroup... but if you aren't keeping up, you may be asked to return on your own. The route is on public highways - the roads are mostly quiet but you should be comfortable with some vehicular traffic.

We should be able to make one stop at a convenience store but otherwise there are no public restrooms. There are porta-potties, showers, and change rooms at the bike park. Fair weather only... we'll cancel if it looks like rain.

The Sosebee Cycling Park is at 465 Simpson Rd NE, White, GA 30184. Take I-75 north to exit 296, Cassville White Road eastbound, left on Spring Place, right on Cass Pine Log for 2.6 miles, then left on Simpson Road.
