This note is here so that you can make an informed decision. When a Trip Leader isn't personally familiar with a trip, there is an increased chance of things not going as planned and you need to be prepared. The Trip Leader may have additional details in the itinerary.

Itinerary:

It has been a few years since I did this hike and I wanted to come back when swimming could be a thing... this is the day!

We will meet at the Clemmer Loop, south trailhead to begin our adventure. We will start on the Clemmer trail in a clockwise direction. We will stay on the Clemmer loop until we meet up with the Benton Falls trail.To the falls we go where we will enjoy our lunches. After the falls we will do a semi-bushwhack to get to the Clear Creek trail to continue our loop. When we reach the Rim Rock Trail, we will take a right and "reloop" to the falls. We need to reloop to earn our D5 rating. Once we intersect with the Scenic Spur trail we will do a few creek crossings before reaching our swimming hole at the second waterfall of the day.

We will be crossing creeks, viewing waterfalls and vistas and even going for a quick swim if the weather permits.

Definitely bring some water shoes for the creek crossings!

This is a difficult hike, recent strong D5 experience is required to join the fun.
