Itinerary:

UPDATE:  Chattooga Ranger District has stated Mount Yonah is closed....so we are moving the hike to Smith Creek Trail to Anna Ruby Falls.

 
Itinerary:

Anna Ruby Falls is one of the most popular waterfalls in the north Georgia mountains.  From the Smith Creek Trailhead at Unicoi State Park, we will hike 4.5 miles along the Smith Creek Trail to Anna Ruby Falls. We will stop and eat lunch at the falls, walk down along the creek for a stop at the visitor center, and then return on the same trail.



The pace will be on the faster side of moderate (2.5-3.0 mph), but we will take a break for lunch as well as stop to take photos along the way.

Trailhead arrival:  9:30 AM

Trailhead return:  3:00 PM

 
 

You will need a state park pass or pay the $5.00 fee.
