Itinerary:

World Famous Silk Sheets route in the counter-clockwise direction. With a Field sprint at the Cochran Mill line :P (just for old time sake).
Starting at the lot at the Campbellton Methodist Church parking lot we'll head out following Church Street over to Cochran Mill rd where we'll turn right and continue a counter-clockwise assault on some of the smoothest roads in west Georgia. This route is about 53.5 miles (give or take a few for re-grouping and of refueling/nature breaks), with 3,000' of elevation gain at an avg speed of 16+mph. This is all on open roads, so if we haven't spent time in a pace line, I'll probably be vetting you...don't take it personal....it's based on safety. Road-centric, pedal bikes only (no e-bikes) - as the tempo will be high (after all it is a D5), but we will regroup at the top of any of the bigger climbs and big turns/intersections. Obey the rules of the road, leave no trace, and keep the rubber side down ;)
