Note: While this is "Beginners Backpacking", all are welcome. The "beginner" part just means that it will not be a strenuous trip....and also that the trip leaders will be happy to answer any questions before, during, and after the event about gear or general backpacking issues. Dogs are welcome (limit one dog per person please) but make sure they are sociable with people and other dogs. We will bring a water filter and everyone is welcome to share. | |||||||

Event Directions: | Take I-985 North which turns into US 23/441. 16 miles past Cornelia, turn left onto Glen Hardman Road, then turn right onto Historic 441 for 1 mile to the Panther Creek Recreation Area parking lot. | ||||||
