Itinerary:

Join me for an early afternoon hike at Kennesaw Mountain.

We will take the well-worn path over Big Kennesaw, Little Kennesaw and Pigeon Hill to our turnaround point at Burnt Hickroy Road....tried, true and still a challenge!

We will wait at Burnt Hickory until all hikers have finished the first pass, then we will return over the mountain to the visitor center at our own pace.  All hikers must finish the hike in the almost 2.5 hour allotted time in order to get credit for the hike.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

We'll meet at the Kennesaw Mountain Visitor Center, 900 Kennesaw Mountain Dr, Kennesaw, GA 30188. (The visitor center is near the intersection of Old Highway 41 NW and Stilesboro Road NW.)

The Visitor center parking lot is often full so we make sure to give yourself time to park in the overflow lot (about a 7 minute walk).

Notes:

There is a $5 parking fee at both the Visitor Center and overflow lots, unless you have an annual pass.  Be sure to display your annual or day pass on your dashboard, as both lots are routinely monitored by park employees.
